Rains continue in Arunachal Pradesh to cause havoc in the twin capital complex of Itanagar and Naharlagun as a portion of the National Highway 415 washed away following a Massive landslide near sango restaurant. The landslide took place on Wednesday morning.
Nirjuli Highway Division Executive Engineer Nani Tath informed that traffic could not flow on NH-415 as the portion of road have been completely washed away and it will take atleast one or two day time for complete restoration. He appeal the commuter to take Papu Nallah-Jully road for time being until the road is restored.
On the other hand Water login near Bage Tinali also creating havoc among the locals. Traffic have been badly affected and commuters are facing lots of inconvenience due to dilapidated road condition.
The Nirjuli Police station, shops in the market area are badly affected due to over flowing of local nallah.
This is the third time this area is submerge in flash flood within a span of two month, but so far not any step has been taken by the administration, alleged resident of the nearby area. .

Due to snap away of road surface near Makai selling Point near Sango restaurant , Highway Authority & TK Engineering officials are engaged with man and machine for restoration works. It is hereby alerted that till resumption of the road on damaged point the traffic for both up & down are being diverted by police via Jullang road. Hengo Basar EAC cum Executive Magistrate itanagar requested to the public to co-operate by using alternate arrangements.
