Dirang MLA Phurpa Tsering appeal the Bugun community to maintain aged old tradition and cultural heritage.
Phurpa Tsering attended as chief guest was addressing the huge gathering of the Bugun community and local people of Singhchung circle of West Kameng district on Monday on the occasion of the inauguration of the 5th Pham kho Sowai festival.
Phurpa said that our tradition and culture is our identity and we need to maintain it and pass on to our younger generation so that the identity of our different tribal community are protected.
The Chief Guest stressed and adviced the people to stay in tune with the tribes culture and custom. one’s own identity should grow and bond together as we move towards the new era
5th Pham kho Sowai festival celebration committee (PHSFCC) chairman Dawa Sarai, General Secretary Dorjee Wangdi Glow also address the gathering.
Local MLA Kumsi Sidisow being the Chief Patron promises and vows to be a man of unity and prosperity. He vowed to be always there for the tribe in terms of any crisis as human.
He also assured all support for development of the area and to serve the people with outmost sincerity and to support the community in preservation and protection of the tribal identity through different ways.
