The mortal remains of late Darasing Tayeng was laid to rest in his native Motum village on Sunday amidst the presence of large public and student gatherings.
The demise of late Darasing Tayeng as a huge lost to the entire Adis and students community across the state. Different Adi student’s unions including ABKYWW, AdiSU (Apex), AdiSU (Guwahati), ATASU condoles the demise.
The Adi Baane Kebang Youth Wing, Adi Students’ Union (Apex), Adi Students’ Union Guwahati Unit and All Tai Ahom Students’ Union have deeply mourned and prayed for heavenly to the departed soul.
In their condolence message to wife of late Tayeng, ABKYW President, Aling Pinggam and General Secretary, Er. Toi Modi have said that, ABKYW is stunned to hear the news of death of late Darasing Tayeng.
AdiSU President, Nang Gao also remembered late Tayeng as one of the most benevolent student leader so far and his contributions toward welfare of students will be always appreciated.
Condoling the untimely demise of late Tayeng and paying floral tribute, State BJP General Secretary, Jarpum Gamlin recalled late Tayeng as a young promising student leader considered to be the inspiration for many youths.
Mebo Intellectual Forum (MIF) has also deeply condoled the demise of late Tayeng and remembered him as one of the vibrant student leader Mebo has ever produced.
