Dean of Faculty of Language, Prof. Harish Kumar Sharma said Jamuna’s poems reflects a deep concern for the changing social scenario which appear to threaten the roots linking her with the tradition.
Assistant Prof. Dr. Abhishek Kumar Yadav said Jamuna is a very keen observer of nature and tribal life. We can put her poetry into mainly two category.
First poems are those which tells beauty of nature. And second poems are those which deals with understanding of tribal roots and examining the drastic impact of globalisation in tribal way of life as tribal culture are facing tremendous challenges from globalisation.
Ms Lisa Lomdak, Assistant Prof. at AITS said Jamuna in her satirical tone she holds up to ridicule the modern society without being cynical.
