Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein accompanied by Chau Zingnu Namchoom, Parliamentary Secretary Planning, Administrative Reforms and Personnel & Trg visited under construction Mini Secretariat building , Stadium complex, Multipurpose cultural hall and new staff colony at Namsai on Monday.

While inspecting the nearly completed Mini Secretariat building Dy CM expressed his satisfaction over quality and progress of work being undertaken by the EE, PWD, executing agency. He suggested for shifting of offices to the new District secretariat building on total completion of civil work as per time frame.
EE PWD briefed Dy CM regarding proposed site for additional blocks to be constructed with in the complex to incorporated all offices of the District. DCM further advised for proper landscaping of the Secretariat complex and to make proper arrangement of vehicle parking.
Dy CM emphasized on total sanitation and beautification of entire Namsai district for which he advised for adequate plantation of seedling in every office premises, schools, roads sides and other suitable places in the district on each important days.
He also directed EE PWD to frame an estimate to complete the remaining portion of boundary wall of Stadium ground for consideration of fund allocation.
