Arunachal: Rebia attends Si-Donyi festival celebration at PTC

Minister Land Management, Doimukh MLA, Nabam Rebia attended Si-Donyi festival (Riga gama) at Police Training Centre (PTC) here with enthusiasm and traditional gaiety.
Addressing the gathering Rebia said that every festival have a great meaning on the activities of the community and society. Many festival in state are celebrated which are attached with the agriculture and bumper harvest. He urge upon the festival committee members to maintain the rich cultural heritage of the tribal community.
He also urge upon for protection of flora and fauna and wild life. He also emphasis on passing of the traditional and moral value to the youngsters who will carry forward the legacy of the ethos of tribal culture in future for its protection and preservation.
Banderdewa DFO Tasso Sera attended as guest of honour who emphasis on protection and preservation of tradition an culture apart of protection of wildlife for effective food chain of human being.
The daylong celebration which include Several cultural activities including traditional games were played.
