Sarmistha Dutta of VKV Roing (Lower Dibang Valley) at 4th, Poorvee Mosi of VPS, Daporijo (Upper Subansiri) at 5th, Udaiso Krong, VKV, Amliang (Anjaw) at 6th, Lakpa Tsering of VKV Shergoan (West Siang) at 7th, Bakin Nasho of VKV, Itanagar (capital Complex) at 8th, Nongong Gammo of GHSS Kharsang (Changlang) at 9th and Thuton Tsomu of VKV Kitpi (Tawang) remained at 10th position respectively.
All the winners received trophy of participation, a certificate and a cash prise money of Five thousand for 1st, Three thousand for 2nd and Two thousand for 3rd winners .
Addressing the valedictory function Director Science & Technology and Members Secretary APSCS & T C.D. Mungyak appreciated the presentation by the young students. He said that is not the end of the day but a humble beginning and wish them a successful participation and presentation at national label too. He appeal the parents to take care of their ward and supporting these children’s for such programmes so that they bring name and fame for them and laurel for district and state.
Jt. Director (S & T) Dr. Debajit Mahanta in his address elaborated the participation of students from Arunachal Pradesh at national level. The platform have given opportunity to many young students scientist to get their name, fame and laurel for the state in many occasion. Some of the young students have been able to participate in international platform. The students from Arunachal have been able to participate at international competition and the last batch of VKV Nirjuli participated at Taiwan in 2016.
He inspired the students through his motivational speech and motivated them to take part in all such activities which make good career for their to become a good professional to serve the society and state at large.
National Children Science Congress (NCSC)-2017 State coordinator Pakngu Lombi while said that the delegation of Arunachal Pradesh which compares’ of 10 students participants, 4 escorts and 2 officials from APSCS&T will be leaving Itanagar from November 24th and will be attending the 25th national Childrens science congress at Ahmedabad in Gurjrat. The programme shall be held from 27th 31st November next Lombi said.
Lombi further said that 1 group members from 1st an 2nd project alongwith 1 escort techer each will get the chance to represent Arunachal Pradesh in the Indian Science Congress to be held during 3rd to 7th January 2018.
