Itanagar: Students and forces attend social service against plastic pollution

Hundreds of students and security forces from ITBP force 31st battalion attended mass social service against plastic pollution being organised by the department of Environment and Forest in state capital on Monday.
Additional Principal conservator of Forest R K Singh while addressing the students from various schools of capital complex said that ‘we are celebrating world environment day and this year the focus and theme is base on plastic which is biodegradable agent and is polluting the environment as like other agent in various form which is danger in time to come. It is slowly affecting our health and existence’.
Deputy Director Environment Dohu Robin while said that we are organising several other programme apart of social service and this year the theme is “ beat plastic pollution” and our focus have been given on it.
Several literary programme including painting competition is being held while prises will be given tomorrow at function organised by the department. He appeal the masses to know about the pollution and its affect and get away from it and obtain various measure and remedies from it.
