Itanagar: Missing 2-year-old boy found dead in Borum
Sangha Dodum, a missing 2-year-old Boy of Ruchi village-2, was found dead in Borum. The boy’s mother reported, he was missing at around 11:30 am today.

According to the police today at about 3 pm, a missing report of child was received from Mrs Sangha Marcy w/o Sangha Talo of Ruchi village-2, near DPS school Jully ITA to effect that her 2 1/2 yrs old child Master Sangha Dodum had gone missing from her house today at around 11:30 am.
Accordingly inquiry was endorsed to SI G. Arangham. He and other available officers and men from Itanagar PS & WPS instantly visited PO located on Dikrong Riverside near DPS Itanagar, conducted search in all possible areas, sent out WT msg to all OC PS, I/C check Gate AP/Assam.
However, as per CCTV footage of neighbour, the little boy was seen going towards river bank through the small stream alone at about 11:51 am. Accordingly, river banks were checked and his footprints were found on sand, but the boy couldn’t be found.
Later in the evening it has been informed by Naharlagun police that one dead body of about 2 yrs old boy was found drowned near Borum Naharlagun.
Accordingly Naharlagun PS initiated necessary investigation and the parents were informed and they identified it to be the missing boy Sangha Dodum. Magistrate was informed and he also visited the dead body at the place of recovery at Burum village Naharlagun. N
