Week-long cleanliness drive at Doimukh under Swachchata Hi Seva to observe 4th anniversary of Swachh Bharat Mission concluded here at Doimukh today.
The concluding day of Swachchta Hi Seva at Doimukh on 29th September’2018 began with a brief word of encouragement and swachchata pledge from Deputy Commissioner Dr. Joram Beda,IAS.
He also felicitated the best Sanitary Workers of Urban Development and Housing department with Sanitary Workers Awards at SDO office general ground. The prizes were sponsored by Pare Hydro Electric Project, NEEPCO Ltd Doimukh.
The weeklong Swachchata Hi Seva campaign was supervised by district administration in coordination with the Urban Development and Housing Department Yupia began with mass social service from 20th September’18 in Doimuk township and on 21st Sept’2018 PWD Division Doimukh, WRD and Electrical Sub-Division Doimukh, PHED, ADTH and CDPO officers and staffs conducted cleanliness drive in public streets.
Urban Development and Housing Department UPO, Er.Taw Tadap, monitor the successful implementation of Swachh Mission in cleaning Doimukh township by providing timely intervention and all logistic support to the local administration.
During the process heavy garbage dumping at Pare river bank was also cleared by engaging JCB by AE , PWD Er.Yorum Nyamdek and all publics were sensitize to not litter the public places and river banks.
