Arunachal: ” Swachhata Hi Seva ” gets momentum all over state

The ongoing cleanness drive in the name of “Swachhata Hi Seva ” getting momentum all over state. Under this a cleaning drive programme held in Jully Jail area to Chimpu with participation of PRI members, local residents, villagers, teachers and students of Jully School which was flagged off by SP, Prison Nabam Gungte in presence of PHED Executive Engineer Tadar Mangku, AE Debia Padang, ASM Nabam Rupa and others.
The drive carried in five villages in Jullang, Dath, Hokka, Richi and Chimpu, the garbage were dumped by way of several trucks at dumping ground of UD.
Dignitaries delivered key note address about need of cleanness for healthy life while emphasis the need of maintaining cleanness around their campus.
The cleanness drive was also launched at Chandranagar wherein Parliamentary Secretary (Home & Education) Pani Taram, BJP state Vice President Kenyir Ringu, Itanagar Capital district President Tarh Soping, IMC Deputy Chief Councillor Tarh Nachung, Councillor Gora Tallang, Taba Yall Nabam among other BJP karikartas and local shopkeepers took parts in the cleanness drive on the eve of closing ceremony of birth centenary celebration of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhya.
A public function was also held where in the dignitaries spoke on the importance of Swachhata is the basic of the good health. They appeal one and all to took part in social service as it is mandatory for all human being to keep their surrounding clean and green for a healthy body and sound mind.
Pani Taram attended the programme as resource person and delivered his address on ‘swachhta he seva’ programme and life history Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhya and maintaining of life through cleanness drive with a good habit and need to impart the habit to others and younger generation.
