Arunachal: Swach Bharat Abhiyan Summer Internship Programme Launched

Nehru Yuva Kendra, Pasighat under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Govt. of India launched Swacch Bharat Abhiyan Summer Internship programme in East Siang District where five youth club are participating in the initial stage , the youth club were allocated selected location to clean the areas for 100 hours which shall be culminated on 31st July 2019.
The first team was launched yesterday at Ranaghat Check Gate area which was flag off by Dr Mindip Perme DMO East Siang District cum Chairman District Health Society amidst large no of participation from all walks of life.
And today’s programme was flag off by Kaling Moyong MLA , Pasighat Assembly Constituency in presence of Kaling Doruk , Chief Councilor PMC and Tapun Taki District Youth Coordinator NYK, Pasighat amidst large gathering.
While appreciating the efforts taken up by the Nehru yuva Kendra Volunteers in shouldering the big task of cleaning and giving awareness to the public at this time Kaling Moyong HMLA and Dr Mindip Perme appeal to the local dwellers to give every possible cooperation and support to the NYK Pasighat for their yeoman services.
He also thanks the BJP government at the centre for launching of this ambitious project to keep clean and hygienic and said that Pasighat being one of the selected smart city in the country needs to maintain to cleanliness at all cost and make Pasighat plastic and dirt free city in future for healthy living.
Tapun Taki District Youth Coordinator NYK Pasighat explained the purpose and needs of conducting the summer internship in the district and said that the best performing team/youth club will be awarded cash prizes of Rs. 30000/- Rs. 20000/- and Rs. 10000/- respectively to those groups/individuals who could conduct 100 Hrs till 31st July 2019 in the District level and Kaling Doruk Chief Councilor also spoke on the occasion.
The Volunteers has covered ward no. 1 and 5 of Pasighat municipal council within this two days and shall continue till 31st July 2019.
