Believe it or not, the love affair between Inter-State Bus Terminal located at Lekhi village and the nature rain seems like a no-ending affair, with the little development that has been seen despite repeated complains of muddy water flooding the terminal making a nightmare for passengers to make an entry or exit.
With a downpour again, the place has been filled with mud and water again making every passenger pray for an intervention from the concerned authority.
Many passengers have expressed their difficulties due to the usual problem.
Months back, seeing the condition Transport Minister Nakap Nalo assured of addressing the situation soon, however, in spite of the assurance there is only a little development done on the ground to avert the situation.
Considering the present scenario, it looked like every passenger will have to navigate their way in and out through mud and water, whenever there is a shower from the sky.
There is no denying that the authority has tried to avert the situation but the deployment of earthmover to clear the stream (Nallah) path and the mud stacked near the corridor did little impact on the situation.
