Indigenous Faith & Culture Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) organised district level literary competition to motivate the students to remain competitive in nature during the tenure of education period.
IFCSAP Kurung Kumey district Unit President Nisso Tania inform that all total 20 selected students of Class X, XI & XII from Sangram and Koloriang take part in the essay and extempore speech competition.
The essay competition was on the role of youth in ‘indigenous Arunachal’ while extempore speech was based on theme ‘ loss of culture and loss of identity’.
The participants from Sarli and Nyapin could not attend due to weather and transportation problem. The day long programme was held at the conference hall of the DC Office.
The judge of the event were District Disaster Management Officer (DDMO) Taku Natung and senior teacher of VKV Koloriang Parsun Kiri as member while District Labour & Employment Officer (DLEO) Kipa Takia as chief judge.
The result will be declared and prizes with certificate will be given on September 3, Tania said.
The chief judge and other judge including the Nisso Tania motivated the students and request them to remain smart with sense of discipline with respect to elders and senior and always concentrate in education with other curricular activities. The dignitaries also appeal the gathering to preservation of tribal culture for protection of identity of tribal community of state.
Person from literary background and executive member from the IFCSAP district unit among other were present on the occasion.
