Arunachal: I G Park ready for Republic day celebration

Indira Gandhi Park of the capital city Itanagar is ready for state level celebration of 69th Republic Day.
DIG (West & HQ) Tussar Taba informed that all security related arrangement have been made. There are contingent of Uniform from all security forces are participating which include IRBN, 138 Bn CRPF, 10 Bn ITBP, 1 APBn Chimpu, PTC Band platoon, PTC Gents and Lady Platoon, Platoon of Fire & Emergency Service, platoon from Utter Pradesh Police (4th Bn PAC).
The contingent from Schools which include NCC Boys girls platoon from GHSS Itanagar, Boys and girls platoon from Government Middle School ESS Sector, VKV Girls Chimpu, VKV PTC Boys team, Girls team from Arunodaya HSS, Boys and girls team from P Sector Secondary School, team of St. Thomas School. A total of 278 team members of all contingent will take part in the ceremonial parade which will take salute by Governor Retired Dr. B D Mishra.
Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan while said that all internal arrangement have been completed and a finishing touch is being given so that there is no problem in celebration of the national programme at IG Park.
All line department like PWD, Power, PHED, Forest, Fire & Emergency Services have been directed to complete their works and even take care of the any shortfall if any.
Around 800 invitation have been distributed to the invitees while the sufficient space have been kept for the general public of capital complex to witness the ceremonial parade at the general ground.
Dhawan said that 8 cultural troops of Art & Culture department will show their performances including other team. A special team of cultural team as street play have been prepared which will focus on local issue of the capital like cleanness drive, four land road,
This year 7 department tableau will be there from APEDA, SIRF, Highway, PHED, IMC, IT etc. Declaration of state award by the Chief secretary.
All officers of capital administration are coordinating for the grand celebration of the Republic day celebration. Three tier security arrangement have been made in an around the national festival celebration ground.
