The Chief Minister Pema Khandu called on the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar on 27th September 2019. They discussed about the overall development plans of the State.
The Governor and Chief Minister discussed regarding the road conditions in different parts of the State due to the torrential rains, particularly the Itanagar-Naharlagun road, infrastructural issues in the health and education sectors.
It was decided to increase the efforts and the necessary documentation must be completed for streamlining of financial issues, especially payment of salaries of Government employees regularly.
The Governor appreciated the Chief Minister and his Team for organising the 1st State Level Heads of School Conference, which he said was very innovative and far-sighted step.
The Governor and the Chief Minister discussed the programmes of the 150th Gandhi Jayanti celebrations in a befitting manner.
