Arunachal: Delay in investigation of PDS scam raised in house
BJP MLA Japu Deru raised the issue of delay in investigation of PDS scam of Arunachal Pradesh .

The multicrore rupees scam of Arunachal Pradesh was today once again heard on the floor of the assembly by Bomdila MLA Japu Deru during the question hour.
Raising the issue, Japu Deru said that there has been no outcome even after handing over the Public distribution system (PDS) scam to CBI.
Intervening into the issue Chief Minister Pema Khandu said that the amount and people involved in the scam cannot be discussed in house.
This matter has been raised several times with Government of India. The matter was taken up recently at the BJP Chief Ministers conference held in New Delhi and the Prime Minster has been informed about the delay in investigation process.
He said that investigations into the PDS scam has been handed over to CBI on 29th December 2017, but the progress report of the investigation hasn’t been submitted yet.
The CBI has asked clarification over some aspects of the case from the government which is being looked into, Khandu said.
