Arunachal: 10 houses gutted in Daporijo Fire, 1 in Aalo

The fire was however contained from spreading  and many dwelling houses were saved. Several local resident and youths join hands and help a lot in dousing the fire.

More than 10 dwelling houses have been gutted in a devastating fire mishap in Abo-Tani colony of Daporijo, the headquarter of Upper Subansiri distract today morning.

Upper Subansiri district Superintendent of Police Keni Bagra inform that there have been a massive fire broke out this morning at Abo-Tani Colony where around ten dwelling houses have been gutted in the mishap.

Bagra said that the information of fire incident was reported at around 9.20 morning and on receipt of information three fire tender was pressed into services. Due to fair weather the fire spread into the locality.

He said all household belonging and property were gutted in the mishap. The cause of the fire is yet to ascertain and assessment is being made to ascertain the exact cost of damaged.

However there is no loss of life in the incident. He further thanks the locals for their active support and cooperation in the time of need.

Fire Engulfs one dwelling house at Biru Village.

In an another fire accident that occurred at around 7 pm yesterday, one dwelling house at Biru village in Aalo belongs to one Morge Noshi was completely gutted to ashes.  All properties along with a Pulsar Motor cycle were completely gutted. The DDMO Nima Dorjee and OC Fire Station Aalo rushed to the spot on behalf of the district administration and took spot assessment of the damages and immediate relief to the fire is being worked out. The Executive members of the Galo Welfare Society also visited the spot with relief materials to console the victim in the hour of crisis.
