Tawang: APB&OCWWB conducted week long awareness camp for the labours
The week long awareness camp initially started from Taktsang Gonpha under Zemithang circle on 7th October followed by such camps at Y-Junction labours camp, Jang and finally at Dzela and Nuranang on 14th October.

The Arunachal Pradesh Building and other construction workers welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) Tawang unit conducted a week long awareness camp for the labours at various labour camps in Tawang district.
The week long awareness camp initially started from Taktsang Gonpha under Zemithang circle on 7th October followed by such camps at Y-Junction labours camp, Jang and finally at Dzela and Nuranang on 14th October.
During these awareness camps the Registering officer APB&OCWWB Tawang, Phurpa Tsering gave awareness on the statutory benefits to the registered labours . He also gave information on how to register the labours under APB&OCWWB and claim benefits.
Phurpa Tsering further informed the labours about enhancement of the statutory benefits like maternity, death, marriage and home loan for registered labours by the APB&OCWWB in its last meeting.
On 14th of October Phurpa Tsering RO, APB&OCWWB was accompanied by Rinchin Norbu Pema Wangdi , and , Dorje Tsering Secretary BROLU Jang at Dzela and Nuranang labour camps.
During Awareness at Dzela and Nuranang Labour camps Rinchen Norbu, Chairman Losel Nyinje Charitable Society Tawang, spoke on Cleanliness maintenance of Hygiene and proper care of health.
Pema Wangdi, President Border road Organisation labour union(BROLU) Tawang Unit expressed his gratitude to the APB&OCWWB Tawang for conducting awareness camps.
The non statutory benefits like water filter and other materials will be distributed to labours during Medical camps in coming days informed Phurpa Tsering, Registering officer APB&OCWWB Tawang.
