Itanagar: Pathetic condition of APST school bus forced student back to home

APST school bus ferrying the school student of KV-II, Chimpu from Bank Tinali got defect and students forced to go back to home.

Several APST bus plying in capital complex and different parts of state need immediate attention of the APST authority  for its repairing and maintenance.

It have been observed that several APST bus which have completed its normal tenure,  but  authority still plying these buses which are in very bad condition. Even passengers travelling in these buses couldn’t save themselves during rain, when water enter inside the bus through broken windows.

Not only that, due to non maintenance of engine buses always got defect on road side. Once such type of incident noticed on Saturday morning when a  APST  bus ferrying the school student of KV-II, Chimpu from Bank Tinali got defect and students have to wait for more than a hour in the bus, after that they forced to go back to home due to no alternate arrangement by the authority.

When contacted APST Station superintendent said that he have not been informed of the incident otherwise alternative arrangement would have been made and the student would not have missed their class for whole day.

However, parents complain that several such school bus of KV-I and KV-II and other sector like NIT are in bad shape and on many occasion the attendant are also absent and need repairing and maintenance, the bus which are plying in state capital should have been in tip top and up-to-date condition as it reflect the state of affairs of the department.
