Beauty Queen of Arunachal Pradesh Model Chum Darang is all set to represent India at the Miss Asia Pacific World pageant 2017 in Lebanon from May 12 to May 21.
Setting course for the beauty pageant, Chum Darang Before leaving India for Lebanon , wrote on Facebook, “It’s a proud feeling for me, representing India at Miss Asia World 2017. To be a ‘Miss India’ was always a dream, and today, I am one. Keep me in your prayers dear well wishers.”
in a another post she wrote ” Need your good wishes. You have been with me through all odds and now, only because of you I have reached here, let your support never end, I love you all! May this journey be beautiful and I hope I’ll be able to keep our country at the top,”.
Born in Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, Chum Darang is proud that she is representing India at the Miss Asia World 2017. Really her hard-work and passion to follow her dreams of representing India is truly commendable. All the best and make us proud!
Chum Darang was crowned Miss Tiara India international 2017 in the month of January of this year.
Chum has devoted herself in numerous social causes and community services like saving the environment, women empowerment which includes upliftment of girl child in the entire state. She also runs an NGO ‘Guardian of blue marble’ which basically works for environmental issues.
Chum Darang had first won Miss All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) in 2010. Since then there has been no looking back. She was also crowned Miss Himalaya 2nd runners up 2015. Later on she went on to represent Arunachal in Miss Earth India 2016 and won the title of Miss Earth India water.
