Kaso appeal one and all to join hand for freedom from open defecation

Parliamentary Secretary and local MLA Techi Kaso on Monday appeal one and all denizens of capital complex to join hand to get freedom from open defecation.
Kaso was addressing huge gathering of locals residents of the Chimpu, government employees, youth and officials of PHE department at a function organised by District swachh Bharat Mission (G), PHE & Water Supply Division Itanagar supported by Rural Development Society at Government Secondary School campus Chimpu.
Kaso said that we need to stay fit and fine with a good health and sound mind and for such we have to shoulder our responsibility in making our surrounding clean. He appeal one and all to construct toilet with scientific nature which shall have no side affect while the decomposed toilet may be used as manure in kitchen garden and other. He said that “ khule me swachh nahi karna hai – as it is a source of lots of disease” Toilet should not be exposed in open which are hazardous for health and directly affect the normal health.
Chimpu Women Welfare Society Tana Atalia express her gratitude in supporting her movement for operation clean and green. She said that they have made dustbin of bamboo which if friendly in nature have been distributed to locals to start the her campaign and appeal all to follow the swachh bharat campaign which shall be benefit for themselves.
Itanagar PHE Circle SE Tayum Tok emphasisi not to throw garbage here and there, Executive Engineer Tadar Mangku while express his concern on lack of awareness and appeal the students and youths to become a torch bearer of swachh baharat abhyan. Mangku elaborated on importance of celebrating free from open defecation.
SBM (G) Nodal Officer T Syam AE Debia Padang, Dr. T Koyu, Pledge were administered to all the visitor to maintain a scientific toilet in house and to avoid open defecation.
Dustbins were distributed to gram wise and few schools and offices by the dignitaries.
ASM Chairperson Teli Yamang and students from Little flower, Tarang Academy and students of Govt. Secondary School attended the function and later all took part in mass social service in the area.
Social service was also conducted at F Sector, E Sector wherein former IMC Chief Councillor Hegio Aruni, IMC Chief Municipal Executive Officer Habung Lampung among other participated.
Mass social service were conducted from Papu Nallah to Lekhi village Naharlagun wherein Bazar committee executive Member Kipa Nai, Tadar Simi and other executive members and large numbers of traders participated.
Nirjuli report added that the business community conducted mass social service wherein Nirjuli Market Welfare Committee General Secretary Tok Tabin Camdir along with executive Members among others were present on the occasion.
