Itanagar:  Mama Natung inaugurates Donyi-Polo Cricket Academy

Addressing the inaugural function Minister Natung advice all the players to maintain discipline, dedication and determined to represent India and assure all his possible help for the Academy.

Minister Sports & Youth Affairs Mama Natung on Saturday inaugurated Donyi-Polo Cricket Academy (DPCA) which will bring up young talented youths to the field of cricket and also cease to the scarcity of cricketers in capital complex and state.

Addressing the inaugural function Minister Natung advice all the players to maintain discipline, dedication and determined to represent India and assure all his possible help for the Academy.

He also advice players to remain away from the clutch of tobacco and drugs substances which is damaging and affecting the life of youths as well as the health of the sports persons.

Arunachal Pradesh Building and other construction workers welfare Board (APB & OCWWB) Chairman Jalley Sonam also advice and youths and motivated the players to remain fit and fine to play a good cricket and bring laurel for state and nation.

Arunachal Cricket Association (ACA) Vice President T C Tok also attended the function as special guest and address the gathering and motivated the players to play for motherland and remain fit and healthy.

Itanagar cricket club (ICC) President Suraj Tayum also spoke about the Academy which is the need of the hour to mould several aspiring candidate to become a good players to play for state and nation in time to come. He said that DPCA is the first of its kind and would try its best effort for development in the field of cricket game for state.

ACA selector Lokam Garga ,Nabam Gunia ,David Tana , ACA office bearer Yab Lala Camdir and former Students leader Norbu Sonam were also present as a special invitees
