He said Govt of India has decided to fund eVidhan project for all states in India and eVidhan project in Arunachal has started time ahead with funding of Rs 22 Crore from state exchequer. Himachal is the first state in India to launch eVidhan project with rest of the states in India following suit.
Chief Minister said eVidhan project will enable all the members of the Assembly to access online questions, answers, press releases, bulletins, budget papers, speeches, documents and bills tabled in the house.
Chief Minister congratulated Speaker and Deputy Speaker for the successful launch of the eVidhan project for Arunachal Assembly to go digital.
Highlighting on the importance of digital technology, Chief Minister said one cannot run away from it and appealed all members of the Assembly to open their social media accounts to keep touch with their constituents. He urged them to use social media to inform the people of the good work they are doing.
With transparency as the objective, CM said Arunachal govt has launched IT initiatives in the state such as eILP, GeM portal, started WiFi zones, PFMS, DBT, eOffice, CPGRAMS etc. He also said Arunachal has set the goal of eOffice of all govt offices by Jan 2022.
