The blood donation camp organised by capital Police and Arunachal Voluntary Blood donor organisation (AVBDO) a unit of Arunachal Vivekananda Yuva Shakti (AVYS) in collaboration with state Blood transfusion Council (SBTC) at conference hall of RK Mission here today.
Addressing the gathering Vardhan said that the donated blood are like a blessing for many whom we do not know and may be utilised to those who are in emergency.
These donated blood are mostly required during the operation and emergency purpose during delivery and other chronic disease.
He also clarifies wrong conception of blood donation that one would feel problems.
He appeal all the personnel to come forward and become a part of welfare of humanity apart of their normal duty toward the security.
AVBDO Chairman Ramesh Jekke also elaborated the need of blood donation and his imitative for years together in the field of health and mankind.
He lauded the police force who take part in noble casue of humanity.
Around 110 police personals from Capital Police, 138 CRPF and few recruit from PTC Banderdewa participated while a total of 43 units of blood was collected today.
SP Capital M Harsha Vardhan was first donor followed by SDPO Itanagar Kamdam Sikom and others.
