Itanagar: Bridge over Yamaso Nallah will be ready by 15th Oct- PWD

The PWD, capital division A, here has informed that department is working towards finishing bridge over Yamaso nallah on the way to division IV before October 15 next. Earlier the department had set September 30 as deadline to complete work, however, the sudden spell of monsoon has put an brake on the progress of work.
“At present the slab steel work is nearly finishing and we are working hard to complete the bridge at the earliest,” said Tana Nekam Tara, EE, PWD CDA.
Though as per tender agreement the date for completion of bridge is December 2019, the PWD has assured to open the bridge for traffic by October 15 next.
On Friday local MLA Techi Kaso visited the bridge site and assessed its progress and directed the PWD not to make any further delay so that the traffic flow on NH-415 is regulated and confidant is minimised.
