Helping Hands for Fire Victims of Gour Hill and Ngomdir villages

The Chairman APEDA and MLA Aalo East and West Siang Deputy Commissioner Gamli Padu met Fire victims of Gour Hill and Ngomdir villages and distributed relief from their sides. The MLA handed over cash of Rs. 10,000/- each to seven affected families of Ngomdir village and Rs. 10,000/- to the Relief Committee to gear up restoration works. He also gave a cheque amounting to Rs. 90,000/- to nine fire victims of Gour Hill and encouraged people not to lose heart in the hours of crisis.
The West Siang Deputy Commissioner Gamli Padu along with PD DRDA visited Ngomdir village and interacted with the villagers on restoration measures. He also distributed blankets to all affected families from his side. He also assured to look into water connection, vehicle for transportation for materials and health camp as soon as possible. The people from Bagra, Angu, Doji, Tadin, Beye and Ngomdir residence are working hard to gather house construction materials to construct temporary houses to accommodate all affected families.
On the other hand Several NGOs and student organisation also setup Donation at several places and collecting donations to help the fire victims.
