Four lane project- Self eviction drive begins in Itanagar

For the Four lane project the self eviction drive for demolition of building and premises began here in the Itanagar township on Tuesday. The demolition have already began but after the final survey recently completed the local and building owner have now openly started the drive.
Many commercial building owner have started right from Chandranagar to Papu Nallah as seen in may premises the demolition began and the demolition is being done as per marking by the capital district administration completed.
Some of the building owner when asked said that we have excepted the measurement made by the administration wherein the official of Highway department were present and they have marked the point.
One of the building owner who is commissioner to Government of Arunachal Pradesh who own a commercial building at Try junction of Vivek Vihar said that I being concise citizen of state, I do support for constriction of four lane road in capital complex, I have started demolition of my premise since day one after final verification.
The district administration have been doing balancing act and the final verification made for demolition and as per formula a lumpsum relief package would be given to owner who cooperate it. if anyone is defaulter would not get the relief. We need to obey and all should support accordingly.
DC Capital Prince Dhawan while talking to arunachal24 from New Delhi over phone said that it is appeal to all citizens of capital complex to help in historic step of four lanning of the NH-415. The government have sanctioned relief package for affected citizens within Right of Way who opt for self demolition.
The last date of applying is August 18. Hence all citizens are requested to demolish their premises as par the latest marking within given time frame a submit their filled up application form with photographic evidence with respective EAC for claiming their relief packages.
He also inform that the compensation for structure outside Right of Way have already been disbursed much earlier, after the given deadline the District Administration will carry out full pledge eviction all remaining defaulter who do not self demolished. And such structures will not be eligible for relief packages Dhawan added.
