Extortionist arrested from Miao Town

Miao police along with 13 Assam Rifles, arrested one Kamsing Ngemu alias Captain Jimmy, from Miao township on Wednesday.The arrested person was reportedly collecting ransom from businessman, Government Officials and shop keepers under Miao Circle in the name of NSCN(R).A case under Miao PS case no.5 u/s384/506 r/w 13 UA(P)Act was registered against the arrested person. This very young notorious man had been arrested many a time by the law enforcing agency who had spent a good numbers of years in police custody but still his notoriety could not be mended. It seems he has become accustomed to jail life.
