CM Pema Khandu Takes Note of Flood Situation in Arunachal

Chief Minister Pema Khandu has taken serious note of the prevailing flood situation in Tezu, Namsai and Jairampur areas of Arunachal Pradesh .
The state government is taking all necessary measures to deal with the flood situation. Accordingly CM Khandu has directed respective legislators of Tezu, Namsai and Jairampur, Shri Dr Mohesh Chai, Shri Zingnu Namchoom and Shri Laisam Simai to oversee the situation.also:

The legislators has been asked to supervise all the relief measures to be taken for which the state government has placed funds for assistance to flood victims and for any restoration activities. The district administration has been directed to carry out relief activities under supervision of local legislators.
The CM has also appealed the people to stay alert and to take preventive and precautionary measures to minimise losses and damages. It is predicted that the monsoon shower is likely to continue for long.
