Arunachal: Swachhta hi Seva in Papum Pare

Launching the swachhta hi seva programme Papum Pare district Deputy Commissioner Tai Kayi at  Sangduppota Circle Community hall as chief guest said that everyone health depend mostly on everyday good habits like social service, taking bath, wearing clean clothes, maintaining cleanness and disposing of household waste in proper way, use of boil water, eat cook food and  others

The programme began on September 15 shall continue till October 2nd on the Gandhi jayanti. Papum Pare being the capital district should be an example of the scheme and sought cooperation from all for a change of social behaviour and change in mindset

All religion teach us for a good habit for safety and wellbeing and requested to keep away the pet animals specially pig which may be kept at a confined area, all stagnant water pond need to filled, He requested not to let out of exit of toilets to running water or river directly which would affect and attract bad habit, he said that abiding the swachhta activities as a holly mind with spirit and said “swachhta hi jivan hai”.

Welcoming the guests and local residents PHED Capital Circle Superintend Engineer Tayum Tok said that cleanness should be part of everyday routine and need to maintain so that everyone can stay fit and fine. He suggested for using of govt scheme for proper construction of two soak pit and toilet  and appeal to remain away from free defecation in open.

Upper Balijan ZPM Golo Takam stressed wholehearted participation of PRI members and emphasis on maintaining of healthy way of life,  CO, Sangdupota J Ronya give a keynote address while Itanagar Division Executive Engineer Tadar Mangku give away both of thanks

Documentary show, social service around Community hall, CO office and other area was also carried out which was participated by locals, GBs and PRI members of the area.
