The doorstep services of the State Government, “Sarkar Aapke Dwar” held at Govt. Secondary Schoo, in Kiyit Village under Mebo-Division, was inaugurated today by the Advisor to CM and Local MLA, Lombo Tayeng .
Huge number of People from Kiyit and adjoining villages of Mebo Sub-Division like Ngopok, Borguli, New Borguli, Seram, Motum ,Raling , Mebo Town, Siluk and Ayeng thronged at the venue since morning to avail services of the Government department, organised by the East Siang District Administration.
In the morning, Local MLA Tayeng along with DC Tamiyo Tatak, ADC Hq, T. Borang and CO Mebo K.Apum , DPO , S. Sharma visited every stalls of the various govt departments and asked to provide and extend all help and cooperation to the people, who are here to avail the citizen services at their doorstep with expectations and hope. The MLA also interacted with the beneficiaries while visiting the stalls.
There was huge queue at the Stall of District Administration, wherein 450 ST forms were issued, 150 PRC and 300 Birth certificate forms were issued.
In PHE stall at Kiyit, 50 beneficiaries were given consultation on Twin Pit Toilet Technology for Individual Household Latrine(IHHL)under SBA, water supply connections and payment of water bills services were also given.
At the Labour and Employment stall, 28 citizens were issued Labour Registration forms, 55 forms issued for NSAP, 40 senior citizens registered for Old Age Pension and 10 for Widow Pension respectively.
The Power Department stall facilitated 62 Consumers to make on spot bill payment besides other services like connections.
The Health department also facilitated RH and HB testing of 341 patients, blood sugar test and General and Dental Checkup with free medicines and also distributed ifa tablets.
The department of Legal Metrology in their report said, total of 185 citizens were given demonstration and awareness on MRP and other Consumer Rights and distributed leaflets and booklets on Consumer guidelines.
From APEDA, 222 beneficiaries availed subsidised LED Bulb, Tubes and Fans under Ujala Scheme.
The Department of Public Libraries also facilitated free membership drive to promote reading habits among the students and youth in particular.
Department of Research and Public Libraries also displayed Archives and books documenting the administrative growth ,culture and heritage of the District.
Departments like Agriculture also provided Soil Health Cards, Subsidised Seedlings etc.
Dept of Disaster Management disseminated and distributed leaflets on safety measures from flood and other disasters.
Many Farmers and Cattle owners also availed facilities and treatment for their Cattle and Livestocks from the Veterinary department.
The Departments Transport, Education, Rural Development ,Tax and Excise , Cooperation and other departments also disseminated and facilitated various services of their respective departments.
