Arunachal: Khandu expresses deep anguish over the death of soldiers

Chief Minister Pema Khandu has expressed deep anguish and shock over the death of soldiers of the Madras Regiment when the vehicle they were travelling in fell into the Kundil River while crossing a bridge near Iduli village in Lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh early Sunday morning.
Three soldiers died after the army vehicle carrying 11 personnel met with the accident.
Extending solidarity with the bereaved family members of the deceased soldiers and personnel of the Madras regiment, Khandu said he was grief-stricken with the news.
The Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured soldiers, who are reportedly recuperating at the Chapakhowa CHC in nearby Assam.
