The body of a man who drowned in Ranganadi near VKV Sher in Kimin circle on August 3 has been recovered today afternoon.
Kimin Additional Deputy Commissioner Likha Tejji said that it was a big task to retrieve the body of one Tadar Kioda ( 48 ) who was a permanent resident of Laba Village of Kurung Kumey district and presently residing at Dem site in Naharlagun got drowned at around 2 PM on August 3 when he was coming back after completing his work at his horticulture garden site of Rubber plantation near VKV Sher.
After a search operation for around three days by team of NDRF, ITBP, local police, public, youths and local administration were engaged and all have contributed a lot in the search operation.
The divers of the NDRF have contributed alot in the retrieving the body and due to their best effort the body of the deceased was recovered today at around 12.10 noon of few meter of the downstream from the site deep inside the trench.
