Arunachal : All party coordination committee demands CM’s resignation

All party coordination committee formed , the committee demand CM Pema Khandu resignation on moral ground.

An all party coordination committee formed here today in a meeting held at hotel Pybss wherein party leaders and elected legislatures of various political party attended the day long meeting and discussed various issue after the violence erupted on PRC issue in the state capital.

APCC President Takam Sanjoy while said that all political party were invited. He said that in the history of state such violence, unprovocative, arbitrary  and police firing have never taken place.

Today meeting was convened by him under the chairmanship for former chief minister Gegong Apang, discussion was taken place on the post violence for peace and normalcy and tranquillity.

The statements of the victims family and their members is very serious and the demand, opinion and statement need to be taken care by the state government. The opinion of the victim is seriously and the sentiment is viewed by the people of state. Sanjoy said.

Referring on 2nd JHPC, Sanjoy said that I have sought extension of period of JHPC committee being chairman  but could not and my report was made null and void. Till the 3rd JHPC report does not reach to the government how it was announced as new year gift is a big question.

Clarifying his report that all members could not sign so I have to sign and submit it to the government.

If the present state government was not interested to give PRC then why it was taken up in the state cabinet and supposed  to be discussed in the legislative assembly. He asserted.

He said that Arunachal is a peaceful state while Kashmir is a volatile where army do not fire directly on protesters, there are several precautionary measures was to be taken on the protesters like barricading, warning, lathicharge, use of water cannon, firing of teargas, smoke bomb and rubber bullet and seems that the machinery was complete fail and innocent protested were fired and killed brutally and blamed the ruling government the chaos.

He blamed Chief Minister for calling of all party meeting after firing and large scale violence, why not all party meeting was done before it was sent to cabinet and assembly.

He said that the Home Minister of state who is responsible for the security and law and order was unaware of the requisition of military, and he have not given any order for firing. The advice for cabinet meeting by Home minister was not informed to him which have been made in the media by the Home Minister which is also a serious issue.

Sanjoy said that all party coordination committee was constituted and demanded that the Chief Minister should resigned on moral ground and a time frame will be given and a memorandum will also through a 15 member delegation will meet the governor and will demand dismissal of the Pema Khandu government.

These three young boys who lost their lives should be declared as martyr, if CM does not resigned then all party will hit the street and staged democratic movement. Immediate constitution of enquiry headed by sitting or retired judge are other demand.

He further said that I have meet two victim at Guwahati with AICC President Rahul Gandhi and pray for early recovery. He added.

Addressing the media person JD (S) national general secretary and Incharge North East and former Chief Minister Gegong Apang said that there are several burning issue confronting state, issue of PRC and violence was also discussed, compensation for the damaged of public and private property and ex gratia issue to the victim family, all erring officers in the violence which lead to firing need to be enquired and action need to be taken, justice cannot be done in that way and all episode need to be cleared through a proper enquiry and need to be informed to the public.

Peace cannot come until all stake holders are involved including all political party. he demanded that CM should resign on moral ground for his failure.
