AdiSU conducts Swachhata Hi Seva at Ngorlung, appeals every Adi villages to maintain cleanliness.

In order to keep villages under Adi inhabited districts and blocks neat and cleaned, the Adi Students Union (AdiSU) with its apex and district unit of East Siang District conducted a mass awareness programme under Swachhata Hi Seva at Ngorlung village under Ruksin Sub-Division here in East Siang District on Saturday last.
The cleanliness programme organized by AdiSU was also attended by Addl. Dy. Commissioner, Ruksin who while appreciating the initiative of student communities in carrying forward the massages and awareness of clean and hygienic environment in the rural villages said that, each and every village also need to play a proactive role in keeping their respective villages cleaned for healthy society and healthy mind.
If each and every members of every rural villages are also sensitized on the idea of clean living with healthy surroundings, there will be a lesser case or chances of any epidemic to break out or to intrude into the villages as cleanliness keeps away most of the transmittable diseases, added the administrative officer.
While team AdiSU has also laid emphasized and appealed every villages under Adi domicile areas and blocks to keep their respective villages neat and cleaned so as to keep away any kind of diseases that spreads due to untidiness and unhealthy surroundings, informed Kaling Tayeng from AdiSU.
Keeping ourselves and our surrounding villages cleaned will keep us mentally and physically advance also maintaining of which doesn’t cost anything to us except giving us beautiful and healthy society, added AdiSU team.
