AKKDSU Allegations on Land Compensation is baseless- DC Kurung Kumey

Deputy Commissioner Kurung Kumey district Koloriang today reacted to the allegation made by the All Kurung Kumey district students union (AKKDSU) and termed as baseless.
Interacting to Arunachal24 said that “we have not received any complaint by any land affected people so far except a single that was of land disputed among two brother. The list of beneficiaries alongwith the compensation amount against their names are kept open in DC Office and anyone can verifyl”.
“No RTI application was filed by the AKKDSU President Bengia Anthony, only a RTI filed by him against Sarli-seppa Inter Valley road of which reply was given to him” he added .
DC also informed that ” Anthony have asked for DPR and photographs of which BRO have refused to provide citing security reason under Section 5 Schedule II of RTI Act. No any individuals complaint were received even in Sarli-Seppa road also”.
DC said that compensation assessment was done in fair manner and transparency was maintained in all level. Two teams were formed one for Sangram Circle under the supervision of SDO Sangram while the second team was under the supervision of ADC (Hq) Koloriang. The SDO Sangram carried his work from Kilo 97 to Kilo 138 in Sangram Circle while ADC Hq carried his work from Kilo 138 to 158 in Koloriang Circle. All affected people were present during the assessment and verification which was assisted by the PRI members, GBs and so called Highway Association of Kurung Kumey district. Highway consultant were also present during the assessment work and no opposition was done and the work was completed in transparent way. The help of Drone camera was also taken for photography of whole stretch of affected land. DC said.
He said that if some one have any grievance they need to submit and substantiate with proof so that action is being initiated against those found guilty.
He further said that several organisation and individuals are pressing hard for disbursement of payment of compensation so that other formalities started at the earliest.
