John Paleng gets Iconic Personality of India-2019 award
John Paleng, folk ARTIST of Arunachal Pradesh has been awarded as ICONIC PERSONALITY OF INDIA 2019 by Indraprashtha educational research & Charitable trust on 28th July 2019.

John Paleng, Assistant General Secretary of Sanskar Bharati cum well known Choreographer and folk ARTIST of Arunachal Pradesh who is also Director of Siang folk Dance and Music academy, has been awarded as ICONIC PERSONALITY OF INDIA 2019 for his remarkable contribution in the field of ART and CULTURE by Indraprashtha educational research & Charitable trust on 28th July 2019.
Mr. John was born on 17th August 1988 by Shri Talung Paleng and Smti. Yarek Paleng of Koreng Village of Siang District Arunachal Pradesh. He was awarded the Best Choreographer of Solung Festival Naharlagun 2017 and was First Choreographer of Adi Feature Film “Aati Peying” in the year 2007. He was also awarded by Sanskar Bharati Arunachal Pradesh and Nritya Bhusan Award by Natraj Sanskritic Silpi Samaj in 2019.
He is a civil engineering graduate but his first love is Exposure to hidden rich cultural heritages of Adi and Arunachal as a whole. He is very vibrant, dynamic and young Choreographer used innovative method to teach his artists.
