Direction have been issued to the PWD to immediately speed up the construction of bridge which connect the Senki park, Division IV with F & G Sector and Ganga Market. DC said “we are expecting that the bridge may be completed by next three month”.

“The culverts which is located at upper side of ESS Sector which connect Bank Tinali and Ganga Market via Hotel Donyi Polo, DDK, and SP Office is also taken up on priority basis. We have a meeting recently at the office of the Chief Secretary where the matter was discussed and CS take it as seriously. Direction was passed by CS and I do have visited and work will be started soon”. DC said.

“Traffic problems is increasing not only due to bad road but also due to increase of numbers of vehicles , encroachment of Right of way (ROW) on highway and wrong parking are the most important factors of traffic jam”, He said.

The Itanagar traffic police of capital complex even with limited staff have been doing their best effort, including the Itanagar traffic warden (ITW) who have been deployed almost all the required places of the capital road for smooth traffic regulation.

We may able to regulate the traffic smoothly if all the stake holders put together all out effort to cease the traffic on road and the commuters are free of traffic jam and do not waste precious time.

All commuters need to obey traffic rule, maintain their vehicle parking at safe place and do not obstruct other commuters and do not park the vehicle on the roadside blocking the free flow of the traffic movement on the highway and other arterial roads. He added.
