The 3rd Edition Hangpan Dada Memorial Tournament 2018-19 U-18, Constituency level w.e.f 21st to 23rd Dec’ 2018 was kicked off at General ground Sagalee by Nabam Tuki, Hon’ble MLA 15th Sagalee Assembly constituency –cum- Patron, Organizing Committee HDMT 2018-19.
In his address to the participants Nabam Tuki, Patron Organising Committee HDMT exhorted them to participate with discipline and commitment.
In the Football and Volleyball matches boys and girls teams from Leporiang, Toru, Parang, Sagalee and Mengio Circles participated.
At Doimukh also 3rd edition of Constituency cum District Level Hangpan Dada Memorial Trophy kicked off at Rono ground Doimukh yesterday on 22nd December’2018.
Kambi Ronya, OC Doimukh graced the inaugural session as chief guest and exalted the role of martyr Hangpan Dada and urged upon the youths get inspiration from the heroic deed of the martyr to serve the motherland. Five teams teams from Doimukh,Gumto, Kimin, Balijan and Sangdupota circles of the district are participating for coveted trophy. SDO Doimukh and President of the tournament witnessed the match.
