Dolum seek coordination from parent to run APST school buses smoothly

Arunachal Pradesh State Transport  (APST) Itanagar Station Superintendent (SS) Tuter Dolum have appeal the parents to guide and take care of their wards when they leave for their school and until they returned back.

Dolum was addressing the parents  of the students who are availing the APST bus services of Kendrya Vidayalaya I & II in capital complex at Ganga Bus stand here today.

He said it was necessary to gathered here today and it is the second of such kind of meeting with parents of the wards who are  availing the government owned APST bus service to go to their school.

There are around 700 students those who are availing the APST services of KV I at Naharlagun and KV II at Chimpu in Itanagar. Though the buses are old but the department is maintaining it for the welfare of the students through concession card.

Parents are the main person who can guide their children  to maintain discipline and dos and donts in the school bus while in board or during the departure either at School or at their destination. They should not  throw anything from the bus ,  also should not take out their head or hand outside the bus.

Bus is public property and it should  be maintained. He assured his support while delivering the services of the transport to the students but everything will be only possible if the parents and school authority also extend their support and cooperation.

He also hear various suggestion and complaints of the parents and also reply. He also said that it is the duty of the bus staff to manage the children  and if they fail to perform their duties, then it should be reported to authority , and authority will take action accordingly.

More than three hundreds parents were present on the occasion who also take the bus concession card of their ward today.
