Arunachal: Inter village football tournament concludes at Kalaktang

All Kalaktang Monpa Students Union has organised Inter village football tournament under the chairmanship of President AKMSU Sange Norbu Kochy and AKMSU Gen Secy of Dawa Norbu Kochy from 4th January to 26 January at Kalaktang under west kameng District. ADC Kalaktang Hage lailang and AGS ( adm) AAPSU Ajit Sidisow graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of honour respectively.
Chief guest emphasis the youths to play any games which is a part of health and fitness apart of academic activities while AKMSU President Sange Norbu kochy on his address requested to the youth and students stay away from drugs and study hard.
13 teams are participating Samphung, Dengzi, Kalaktang, lungdur, Ankaling, chinzi, lephakpu, brokpalangchen, warampam, chamdurung, Betchiling, Boha and komlangchen village. final match was played between Boha village and komalangchen village, Boha scored 5 goals and komalangchen scored 1, Boha won the match.
Winner team awarded cash prize of Rupees 50000 and Runner up awarded with Rupees 30000 with trophy and felicitated by the dignitaries.
Cultural performances were done by the various villages of the area on the occasion of the valedictory function.
