The Chief Minister further mentioned that the cycling event would also strengthen brotherhood amongst all the north eastern states. He also conveyed his goodwill to all the participating cyclists for success of their journey.
Noteworthy that several cyclists from all over the country have taken part in the MTB Tawang Challenge, which will cover 500 KM difficult terrain during its tour. The competition will culminate on 28 th October after six days journey and passing through hilly tracts located at 13,700 feet above sea level. This is stated in a press release.
on the other hand Three rider from Manipur have left Imphal to participate in the “Mountain Bike Tawang Challenge” organised as a part of Tawang festival under the auspices of Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh which will be held from October 23 to 28.The riders who left for Mountain Bike Tawang Challenge are Mathew Thingbaijam, Thangsabam Chinglensana and Nameirakpam Chingkheinganba.
H Bikram, secretary Manipur Cycling Association and Ranjit, Director of Manipur Cycling will officiate the tournament as tournament director and technical officials respectively.
