Itanagar-Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan has directed traffic officials to keep a check on traffic violators, with strict instructions that “at no cost two-way movement should be allowed at one-way traffic”.

Stressing on maintaining one-way traffic rules by traffic officials and wardens, the DC asked SP Capital N Harsha Vardhan to deploy additional forces wherever required.

He said this during a meeting held here on Wednesday to discuss traffic management system and to work out ways to improve the traffic system in the Capital Complex.

He also informed that executive magistrates will conduct an exercise, along with OC Traffic, Itanagar and Naharlagun once a week to check the follow-up of traffic rules.
