Week-long celebration of 64th All India Cooperative Week concludes

A week-long celebration of 64th All India Cooperative Week themed “Empowering People Through Digitalization of Cooperatives” was concluded in a befitting manner at Conference Hall, Polo Colony here today.
Addressing as Chief Guest Dr. Gyanendra Mani, GM, NABARD, Itanagar, advised the Officers and Cooperators to celebrate the occasion in a useful and informative way by reviewing the progress and achievement of the sector as Departmental Officer, Banker and Cooperator . He also advised to discuss the future plan and strategies to take the movement to the new height of success.
Citing example of various success stories he also advised to take up any viable economic activities with objective and goal to achieve the target for the interest of the members and for the sector as a whole.
Mr R.D. Thongon Joint RCS while extending thanks to the Cooperative Union and Apex Bank, narrated the importance of celebrating the event in the state and in the country as a whole. Further, he termed the Cooperative Society as best for employment generation.
More than 100 participants comprising of Officers of Dept. of Cooperation, Federal Societies, District Cooperative Unions, Primary Cooperative Societies of Capital Complex and also from District attended the programme.
