The State level Master Resource Person Training Workshop on National Children Science Congress 2018” with Theme “Science, Technology & Innovation for A Clean ,Green and Healthy Nation was organized today by Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science & Technology at Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre, Itanagar.
Inaugurating the day long workshop Science & Technology Chairman Bamang Mangha told that Science & Technology is the key for sustainable growth of state. While addressing about the opportunities after participation in NCSC, he also urged the teachers to actively motivate the students to participate in NCSC and other scientific activities. He also appealed to the Master Resource Persons to put their full effort to encourage the budding scientists to participate in such kind of programme to get exposure at National Level.
Director cum Member Secretary, A.P. State Council for Science & Technology C.D. Mungyak in his address appreciate the effort of guide teachers for formulation of good projects from Arunachal Pradesh and hope to maintain the same spirit for coming up NCSC 2018.
NCSTC Scientist ASTEC Assam and Resource person Dr. Jaideep Baruah,, NAC Member Duniyak Ado, State Remote Sensing Application Centre Scientific Officer Dr. Swapna Acharjee, NERIST Associate Professor Dr. A. Dhinamani Singh, State Coordinator, NCSC and Deputy Director P. Lombi, A.P. State Council for Science & Technology Project Scientist, Duniyak Ado, and Joram Aku and resource person Pakngu Lombi represented their views and need for application of various methods for the upcoming and young scientist of the state.
A total 29 Master Resource Person from 18 district participated in the workshop.
P. State Council for Science & Technology Dr. Debajit Mahanta, Joint Director explains the success story of NCSC activities in Arunachal Pradesh.
Presentation on project formulation on Eco-System and Eco system Services, Society Culture and Livelihood, Waste and Wealth, and guide line and introduction of evaluation process, achievements of State in NCSC at national level and wishes for the same spirit in NCSC 2018 was deliberated by the resource person of the state present on the occasion.
The programme is being supported and catalysed by National Council for Science & Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
