All Arunachal Hotel Resort Restaurant and Bar Association(AAHRRBA) demanded justification from home department and expressed their sentiment and demanded restoration reputation of Hotel, which got severely defamed and misrepresented on account of the report furnished by the capital Itanagar, police in to all local dailies recently in connection with the recently apprehended allege sex workers.
Demanding justification or clarification within seven days from the concern department for allegation to many hotels of Itanagar, while addressing media person here at Arunachal press club today AAHRRBA president Tagru Punung said, Itanagar police is randomly alleging many Hotel.
As per the findings of the police report and the SDPO ltanagar herself has stated that hotels like Ato Ayo and Sun View are involved in the mentioned above illegal act as direct evidence has been found against them. But why police included other six hotel of Itanagar and defamed their name, which is innocent, while some of hotels have not been either inspected or raided in these connection he added.
Later Punung also asked the concern authority to provide details of arrestees or illegal activities of that particular six hotel like Hotel Kosing, Hotel panna, Hotel Paramount, Hotel Itaport, Hotel Kameng and Hotel Park view.
Denying the allegation made by Itanagar police on the many hotel AAHRRBA general secretary Takam Tayam said there is no truth in it and reconsideration of the report which is going to be submitted by SDPO Itanagar pertaining to the cancellation of our Hotel license as we are innocent and nothing incriminating evidence has been found against the functioning of our hotel in connection with the immoral trafficking prevention act 1956.
The names of our hotels namely as Hotel Paramount, Kosing, ltafort, Karneng, Park View and Panna was published in all the local dailies wherein it was mentioned that the SDPO Itanagar is going to submit a report to the concerned authorities of District administration regarding the cancellation of licence of the above mentioned hotel.
He said that we are service the customer who are treated like a god and never think of such activities, however law will take own course of action if anyone find in such case he added.
AAHRRBA Unit President Jomi Bagra, appreciating the district administration for sealing of some illegal running Bars and raids in hotel, he claim that there is many bar which is running illegally but since 2014 we informing to authority but police did not reached up to them.
He also inform that the managers of our hotel was called upon by the Police and as such being a law abiding individual all the managers of our hotel went to the said police station in person. But to our utter surprise we came to know that our managers have been arrested without any valid reason and were kept in the custody due to the non availability of any incriminating evidence against our hotel, managers were released on the very same day after a bond of ten thousand, he added. He appeal the district administration for increasing of timing of bars from 12 PM to 12 AM as there are no business transaction in days time.
Further AAHRRBA demand restoration of our hotels hard earned reputation by every possible means on the part of authorities responsible, AAHRRBA said that it had been deeply effected on account of the report published in the local dailies without any liability.
Further they also warns for democratic movement against home department if they fail to justified within seven days.
