Itanagar: Man duped youths for providing jobs, arrested
A man who allegedly cheating a number of youths on pretext of getting them jobs, has been arrested by capital police on Saturday.

Capital Police has arrested one Sanjay Das in connection with cheating the youth of the state on the pretext of providing them with jobs.
Capital SP M Harsha Vardhan while informed this daily that a Complaint was received in Naharlagun PS from two youth that they had seen posters regarding jobs and were then asked to pay nearly 2500 rupees each for administrative charges.
Jobs were of helper, supervisor, marketing executive, etc. The said job never materialised. It is alleged that more than 100 youth may have been duped like this in capital region alone.
Vardhan said that a case No-182 /18 u/s 420 IPC was registered at Naharlagun PS and police team lured the accused Sanjay Das to Bandardewa area, where he was arrested.
So far 18 persons have come forward as victims of this cheating racket. Any other persons cheated in this way should report to Naharlagun PS .
Even in other case citizens should not get trapped in such advertisement without proper verification through net and experienced person or professionals.
Further arrests are likely in this case as search for accomplices is going on. SP added.
