Police arrested the main accused of the recent hit and run case at Gohpur Tinali wherein one lady Takhe Rachi died .

The recent hit and run case of September 7, at Gohpur Tinali wherein one lady Takhe Rachi died is solved with the arrest of the accused, said Capital SP M Harasha Vardhan.
Vardhan said that the culprit in the hit and run case of a lady at Gohpur Tinali has been arrested. It was through systematic and painstaking investigation the case could have solved.
While elaborating the investigation process SP said that it was a result of through and painstaking investigation that we could find the culprit.
It was a blind case where only clue was that offending vehicle is a tempo and no other information was forthcoming, he added.
A special team was formed under SDPO Itanagar Kamdam Sikom comprising SI R K Jha, SI A K Singh and Inspector Karbom Tao to identify the culprit and then trace him.
Since the incident, the accused left his usual place of stay. He was found in Model village, Naharlagun
The officers and police personnel of Capital Police have worked very hard and interrogated over 50 persons and later accused Nabam Ajay, age:19-20 years have been arrested today.
Vardhan said that the Itanagar police station vide Case No-253/18 u/s-279, 34 IPC is solved with the arrest of the accused. He will be produced before the court of law and will be prosecuted as per law. He added.
