Channelizing youth power to build a strong and vibrant nation- Bamang Felix

PHE & WS, IPR and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Bamang Felix advocated for channelizing youth power to build a strong and vibrant nation. He was speaking at Arunodoi North East Conclave, connecting Northeast program here in New Delhi today.

Saying that the youths of today are not only the demographic dividend and working hands alone but also the leaders of tomorrow, Felix called the youth force to be partners to development. “Young minds can do wonders and bring in the desirable transformation a country needs,” he assertively said.

While appreciating Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking special interest in developing North East region, the Minister said that Modi’s Act East policy towards NE region is bearing fruits and development is actually taking the grounds.

“Despite remaining a lesser-known region to the world for ample reasons since many years, North East India has gradually developed and made its presence felt in myriad fields. Our fellow Northeasters have excelled in almost all the fields – be it corporate world, politics, journalism, academics, sports or music we have our strong presence today” Felix emphatically said.

IReferring to huge potential the North East possessed, Felix called for a systematic and concerted approach to tap this rich resource. He said days are not far when North East would become the leaders in all fields.

While extending all possible support, he said that such event should be made a regular feature which brings the north east family closer to each other and strengthens the nation. He categorically thanked the Assam Chief Minister S Sonowal who was also present on the occasion for sponsoring and organising the conclave.

Among others Union Minister for DoNER Jitendra Singh and MOS V K Singh were present.
